Tennis players named All-Americans
Three University of North Georgia (¶¶Òõ̽̽App) tennis players earned All-American honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) in 2022. Men's tennis player was an All-American in singles, while the women's duo of and received All-American recognition in doubles.
Student-athletes who finish in the top 20 of the final ITA singles rankings are All-Americans, while the All-American status is awarded to doubles teams that finish in the top 10 of the final ITA doubles rankings.
Additionally, ¶¶Òõ̽̽App had multiple recipients of the Division II ITA regional awards.
Head coach was named the Wilson ITA Women's Coach of the Year for the Southeast Region after leading the Nighthawks to a 15-win season and a fifth consecutive NCAA appearance. The ¶¶Òõ̽̽App women's tennis team also tied for the regular-season Peach Belt Conference championship.
Additionally, on the women's side, was selected as the Arthur Ashe Leadership & Sportsmanship recipient while her teammate Jorge was named the ITA Southeast Region Senior Player of the Year.
On the men's side, seniors and were honored with regional awards. Waldow was selected as the ITA Most Improved Senior while Gaskin earned the region's Senior Player of the Year distinction.
Athletics names 2026 Hall of Fame class
The ¶¶Òõ̽̽App Department of Athletics and the Athletics Hall of Fame Committee have unveiled the class of 2026, which is set to be inducted Sept. 24.
¶¶Òõ̽̽App raises most funds in PBC for Make-A-Wish
¶¶Òõ̽̽App earned the LeeAnn Noble Make-A-Wish Award for the most funds raised in 2025-26 during the Peach Belt Conference's annual Make-A-Wish initiative.
Campbell named DII director for WGCA Board
¶¶Òõ̽̽App women's golf head coach Sierra Campbell has been selected to serve as the Division II director on the Women's Golf Coaches Association Board of Directors for 2026-27.
¶¶Òõ̽̽App is top athletic program in PBC
The ¶¶Òõ̽̽App Athletic Department set the standard for excellence in the Peach Belt Conference in 2025-26, earning the David R. Brunk Commissioner's Cup for the second time in three years.
