¶¶Òõ̽̽App Night at Braves is Sept. 7
University of North Georgia (¶¶Òõ̽̽App) students, faculty, staff, alumni, family, and friends will have a chance to enjoy an Atlanta Braves game together for the fourth year in a row. The ¶¶Òõ̽̽App Alumni Association is sponsoring its fourth annual for Atlanta's Sept. 7 game against the Toronto Blue Jays, which is set for 7:20 p.m.
More than 2,000 tickets are available for those connected with ¶¶Òõ̽̽App to attend the game at Truist Park in Atlanta. The seating is in sections 410-417.
Individual tickets of up to nine guests are $25 each and can be purchased on the . For groups of 10 or more, tickets are $23 each and can be purchased by calling 706-864-1547 or by stopping by the Alumni Relations office at 70 Alumni Drive at ¶¶Òõ̽̽App's Dahlonega Campus. All proceeds will benefit the ¶¶Òõ̽̽App Alumni Association.
The Alumni Association encourages everyone to wear their ¶¶Òõ̽̽App blue and gold to the Braves game.
The event was initiated by ¶¶Òõ̽̽App Alumni Association board members Nick Miller and James Wright just before the COVID-19 pandemic. Having to pivot for safety, the event was first held in 2021 on Sept. 11 when the Braves faced the Miami Marlins. ¶¶Òõ̽̽App Night at the Braves featured games against the Philadelphia Phillies in 2022 and the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2023.

Ed.D. alumna wins dissertation award
Dr. Brooklyn Herrera, a 2024 graduate of ¶¶Òõ̽̽App's Doctor of Education program, won the 2025 Dissertation of the Year award from the Southern Association for College Student Affairs.
Alumna's art captures plaza dedication
Alumna Kayleigh Riker painted a portrait of the Nov. 3 dedication of the Major General James E. Livingston Plaza, which honored the ¶¶Òõ̽̽App alumnus who is one of 61 living Medal of Honor recipients.
