Weekly Service Opportunities
Dahlonega Campus
- Feral Cat Program of Georgia
- Volunteers will help with weekly cleaning, laundry duty and cat care. Volunteers will also have time to play and cuddle with the cats.
- Vickery House
- Volunteers will assist with gardening, cleaning and historical projects.
Note: If a student wishes to participate in a trip they must sign up for that specific trip every single time they wish to participate
Saturday of Service
Saturday of Service is a semesterly opportunity to engage in meaningful community service. Hosted by the Center for Student Engagement and Leadership in partnership with local organizations, each event connects students with unique service projects that make a positive impact in our communities.
Days of Service
CSEL offers multiple Days of Service through the school year that work to bring together students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community members to serve together. Everyone can find an opportunity to fit their interests and connect further with the ¶¶Òõ̽̽App Community!
Feed the Funnel (9/11 National Day of Service)
The Center for Student Engagement and Leadership and the Georgia Mountain Food Bank are partnering to pack meals for neighbors in need. Help support food security and make a difference across our ¶¶Òõ̽̽App communities.
MLK Day of Service
Honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy through service and community engagement. Students, faculty, staff, and community members come together to give back and make a positive impact.

The ¶¶Òõ̽̽App Day of Service brings together students, faculty, staff, and community partners from all campuses to serve throughout Northeast Georgia. Through meaningful service projects, the ¶¶Òõ̽̽App community works together to strengthen the communities where we live, learn, and work.
As Georgia’s state-designated leadership institution, the University of North Georgia prepares students to lead well beyond their college years.
Our co-curricular leadership programs offer hands-on experiences that help students strengthen their core values, teamwork, collaboration, communication, and other essential skills for success.
GivePulse is ¶¶Òõ̽̽App’s official online platform for tracking impact (service hours), finding volunteer opportunities, and reporting community engagement. Both students and faculty/staff can use GivePulse to connect with service initiatives, log hours, and highlight the impact of volunteer work at ¶¶Òõ̽̽App.
